Sewing Room

I’ve been working on my sewing room for a couple of months. I made my cutting table with saw horses, plywood and marker board. The marker board is easy to clean, works great for drawing ideas or for my daughter’s home school work. The table uses my son’s bed as the third leg. This allows me to remove the top for a guest bed.

Next I put a peg board on the wall for my tools.

We made a sewing table from two by fours and some scrap laminate pieces. A whole was cut out for my machine and the top was placed on an existing table.

My husband took the sliding doors of the closet for me. Boy what a difference, I can see and find every thing. It’s not quite as neat with out the doors but I can utilize all the space from the shelves we built earlier.
Yesterday we moved my design wall and finally anchored it with drywall screws. This meant my ironing board and fabrics had to be moved as well. But, you can see I’ve already started another project.
